The Human Form

Here are various sketches I have done on ‘the human form’. I like the idea of possibley applying these style poses to a sculpture. I have created drawings using ‘line art’ and as if I am drawing the highlights and the shadows as hsapes to emphasises the shapes and physical form rather than the being themself. I have also done this so that I can scan these sketches and outlines in and re-create them in various mediums to experiment with what I prefer and feel is most successful. I have done this with two of the images, the blue line girl (3rd from last) and the blue pencil girl ( 3rd image in.) I like these two however I felt that I could have played with the mediums alot more and executed them to a higher level, but instead I simpley filled them in straight away which I regret and hence left the others blank. I llike the tones in the third image however and the cold perspective it gives and I like the simplicity and clash of vibrancy in the blue and red line drawing.
